Privacy Notice
Effective September 18, 2026
1. Who we are
PlaybookMotion is operated by Brian Dunnuck (“we”, “us”, the “Seller”), who acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: support@playbookmotion.com.
2. What we collect and why
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data — name, email address and login credentials — to create and secure your account (contract performance).
- Content you create — plays, playbooks, notes, coaching messages, voice recordings and transcripts — to provide the Service (contract performance).
- Support communications — messages you send us — to provide customer support (contract performance / legitimate interests).
- Usage and device data — interactions, feature usage, device identifiers and IP address — for security, fraud prevention, product improvement and analytics (legitimate interests).
Payment card details are collected and processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and are not stored by us.
3. Legal bases
Depending on the activity, we process personal data to perform our contract with you, based on our legitimate interests in securing and improving the Service, based on your consent (for example, optional marketing or cookies), or to comply with legal obligations.
4. Who we share data with
- Service providers and subprocessors that host the Service and provide storage, analytics, AI processing and support tooling, under appropriate safeguards.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
- Authorities where required by law.
5. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where data leaves these regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit and at rest and access controls limiting who can view personal data.
8. Your rights
You have the rights provided by the laws of your country, which for UK/EEA residents include the rights to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month. To exercise any right, contact support@playbookmotion.com.
9. Cookies and tracking
Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your organization and protect the Service; they are always active and cannot be switched off. With your consent we also set:
Analytics cookies — Google Analytics (Google LLC), used to measure which pages and features are used so we can improve them.
Advertising cookies — Google Ads (Google LLC), the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) and the Reddit pixel (Reddit, Inc.), used to measure which advertising leads to paid subscriptions and to optimize our advertising. These providers may receive your IP address, device and browser information, and the pages you viewed on our site.
Nothing in these two categories loads until you accept. You choose when you first visit, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer; withdrawal takes effect immediately. Your choice, the date you made it and the version of the notice shown to you are stored in your browser as a record of consent. You can also clear cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from working.
10. Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated notice.
